Independent Living Support

Current Opening: Currently Apollo Counseling, Inc is accepting referrals for our community based program for adults and adolescents currently accessing ID waiver, BI waiver, Habilitation, and CMH waiver services for Independent Community support. This program is for individuals who are capeable of living without 24 hour staff or are living with a family member and do not require assistance from Apollo 24 hours.

ADULT REMEDIAL SERVICES

Apollo Counseling, Inc., in response to the new standards and expectations with the transition of Remedial Services to Magellan Health Services is seeking individuals and families that are struggling with, or know someone, who is struggling with a Chronic Mental Illness. Individuals for this program may be enrolled in other services with other providers and may even require 24 hour supports. Candidates who will best match this program may meet any of the following:

• Currently involved in or seeking psychotherapy.
• Currently have Targeted Case Management Services OR are in need of similar services, but do not qualify for traditional Targeted Case Managed Services.
• Currently recieve or have been discharged from Psychiatry services.
• Currently recieve support from Habilitation services or ID waiver services and have a full scale functional IQ of 55 or higher.
• Are ready to work on symptom management and are medication compliant.
• Have been unsuccessfull with traditional treatment approaches in mental health.

  CHILD REMEDIAL SERVICES

  Apollo Counseling, Inc. is looking for children and families with children ages 4 and up who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues and require intervention in the home, school, and community. Candidates who are best for this program are:

  • Children with a Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) or Mental Illness.
  • Children struggling with Developmental Disabilities like: PDD NOS, Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Children who have struggled and failed with traditional counseling programs and models
  • Children who have been hospitalized or had "out of home" placement in the last 6 months.
  • Children who are involved with or in need of psychotherapy services and psychiatry services.
  • Wait listed for Child Mental Health Waiver Services or are teens transitioning to Adult Services.
