The following is a listing of all existing positions within the agency, not all of these positions are open for hire:

Remedial Services Case Manager

This position works independently in the community with adults, children, and families addressing emotional, social, and behavioral development needs. Case Managers are required to have minimum a 4 year degree from an accredited program in the human service or counseling field and posess at least two years experience working with families or in mental health. Remedial Service Case Managers are paid based on their caseload. Typical full-time case load is 20-25 hours per week of billable client contact. Starting at $27-32.00 per billable hour and $10.00 per non-billable hour.

Residential Coach

This position works in our Home and COmmunity Based program with individuals who have a chronic mental illness or developmental disability. Services are provided on an hourly basis with more independent clients, or in a 24 hour supported site for those who require a higher level of support. The Residential Coach is responsible for coordination of daily activities as well as communication about the indivduals they work with to Case Managers, guardians, and outside agencies. Residentail Coaches are required to have a minimum of two years working experience in the field of human services. It is prefferable to possess a two or four year degree in the field of human services. Residential Coaches are paid based on the site and/or cases they are assigned to. Starting at $11-14.00/hour.

Overnight Staff

Overnight Staff are sleeping positions working in our 24 hour HCBS sites, or on a PRN basis. Overnight staff are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. Overnight staff are responsible for checking on clients throughout the night and securing the safety of the location. Starting at $9-11.00/hour.

Office Manager

The Office Manager is a part-time position that will begin April of 2011. This position will be responsible for answering phones, assisting with basic daily office tasks. This position has the potential to become a full-time position within the year depending on organizational growth. The Office Manager is required to have a basic background knowledge of Human Services and perferrably to have experience with basic book-keeping, ICD-9 coding and medical billing. The ideal candidate will posess at least an Associates degree related to the position and at least three years experience working in an office setting. Starting at $12-15.00/hour.

Quality Assurance Officer

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for the management, organization, and tracking of documentation with billing, the quality and training of documentation on an annual basis to employees and the agency, as well as the oversight of compliance with Medicaid standards. The officer is also responsible for conducting Quality Assurance reviews on a quarterly basis with funders, clients, and community members about the agency's services. This position is a new position anticipating to begin May 2011. Starting at $30-35,000/year.

Administrator

This position is responsible for the overall daily staffing operations of the agency and staff development. The Administrator will be in charge of hiring and elimnating staff, counseling actions, training and development of staff, oversight of employees to ensure compliance with State of Iowa Remedial and HCBS guidelines. The Administrator is also responsible for attending local and regional conferences and representing the agency in public when needed. The Administrator will posess at Minimim a Bachelor's degree in the Human Service or Human Resource field and have at least five years working experience in the field with at least two of those in a management or supervisory capacity. Master's Degree in Human Service Administration or Human Resource Development preferred. Starting at $37-45,000 per year.

Independent Licensed Practitioner's

Apollo does not directly hire, but independently contract's this position. LISW's, LMHC's, PhD's, are welcome to inquire. Designation as an LPHA is required within 6 months after contract. Apollo will be responsible for the adminstrative and intake of patients for licensed professionals. Current areas of practice and experience need are: Work with PTSD/Trauma, Creative Arts Therapies, Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disabilities, Psychological Evaluation and Testing.
